New Age ideas and practices have seeped into every facet of Catholic culture.  Religious communities support ministries promoting eastern and Gnostic forms of prayer.  Hospitals claiming to be Catholic offer courses or house "healing centers" with Reiki, yoga and Healing Touch instruction and practice.   One Catholic university includes pastoral counseling training with faculty involved in questionable practices and with worldviews antithetical to Catholic teachings.

The question is, "But, what can I do about it?"

1)  Information - becoming informed through reading the articles on this site and linked to others, especially EWTN's library.

2)  Evangelization

    a)  by printing out and disseminating these articles in church vestibules,

    b)  holding seminars at the parish, school and university level with the outlines for educators,

    c)  sending letters of concern to hospital, university and religious order leaders - copying your local bishop each time,

    d)  becoming vocal and active as lay leaders at the local, archdiocesan and national levels by serving on committees with oversight of these institutions.

3)  Intercessory Prayer

         by starting Holy Face Holy Hours in reparation for the sins of blasphemy and for conversion and deliverance.
