Pope John Paul II has developed a Theology of the Body which addresses the holiness of the human person as a temple of the Holy Spirit and member of the Mystical Body of Christ.  This conference seeks to explore the many ways we can create a culture of life as we seek the Face of Christ

Fr. Francis Valentino, S.J., Ph.D. is a Jesuit and frequent lecturer.  He has been engaged for many years in teaching and counseling as a licensed clinical psychologist, and has degrees in Philosophy and Theology. His talk will explore some of the theological and spiritual implications of research on the Shroud.

John and Donna Kurtz are co-founders of Saint Joseph's House, a hospice for children and outreach to families.  They have been married for sixteen years and have 13 children, most of whom are adopted.  They attribute many of children's healings to time spent before Our Lord in the tabernacle.

Theresa Karminski Burke, Ph.D. is founder of Rachel’s Vineyard Ministries, an international outreach which provides intensive weekend retreats for healing after abortion. Theresa is the co-author with Kevin Burke of: Contemplating the Shroud: Meditations on the Passion and Resurrection of Jesus; and author of Rachel’s Vineyard: A psychological and spiritual journey of healing after abortion.

Sister Sarah Doser, FSE, (Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist), is Assistant to the Dean and also Director of Admissions at the John Paul II Institute.  She holds an M.A. in Theology and is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and former Executive Director for the Catholic Health Association of Saskatchewan.  She has given seminars on the theology of the body and her pastoral experience includes outreach programs to the rural elderly.
